Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • what is the maximum height?

This is fixed no height adjustment. You can attach other selfie stick to it if it can be screwed like the Camkix stick. By beejay on November 1, 2015

  • Will this work with the Floatpro Pole?

Yes it does By Amazon Customer on April 8, 2016 .

  • I'm trying to figure out if it comes with the pole as seen in the product picture (for a point & shoot camera). Don't want it to be too short.

The pole is sold separately. CamKix makes a good one! I have it. It would be great for PnS camera, if you put it on a table. Or strap it to something. By T. Vuong Pham on June 20, 2015 .

  • How good of a stabilizer is when recording with a gopro or videocamera?

While moving do you mean? If so, no vibration reduction. That's not what this is made to do. It's made to be a mini- tripod. In that it works great! Nice and stable on the ground. I have mounted my Nikon D60, and the ball joint held. For the GoPro sized crowd it even works well as a hand hold. By Emily on September 13, 2015 .

  • how steady is the thread if i where to screw in a pole on there? will it just flop to the side?

I think the screw would handle a pool just fine but the stability of the tripod would depend on the length of the pole. I would say if you were going to use a pole to just get a regular tripod. The one use I found very cool about this tripod was the low to ground macro work with my 70D. • How do you use the ball joint? Via button? Or must it be loosened by winding in order to readjust?

It purchased it as a gift, I did not get to use it. By sima on March 5, 2017 .

  • I have a metal bar with 2 go pros; is that too much weight?

Hi James,This tripod can be combined with all CamKix poles which means it can take an extra weight. • what's the weight limit? i have a metal bar with 2 cameras

I would be concerned with both weight and balance. The center of gravity for two cameras. If you had a single DLSR even that might be "top heavy" By T. Vuong Pham on April 2, 2016 .
