This kit contains a multi-coated ultraviolet filter (MCUV), a filter storage container and a cleaning cloth. The functionality and advantage of this filter is explained in the following texts and in the pictures.
The CamKix multi-coated ultraviolet filter (MCUV) not only protects your lens from smudges and scratches, it also reduces lens flares and light glares. The thin, high transmission filter is designed to be used with the wide field of view lens of the DJI Mavic Pro camera.
Flare is caused by direct light hitting the front of the lens. In some situations it is almost impossible to avoid direct light shining into the lens, for example when shooting a sunset or backlight footage. Using the CamKix MCUV filter can help reduce lens flares.
If the original source footage that you capture with your DJI Mavic Pro camera is better, it will be easier to get enhanced results in post production. Using CamKix filters will help you achieve that.
