  • CAMKIX CINEMATIC FILTER PACK: This kit contains two neutral density filters (ND4 and ND8), a polarizing filter (PL), a nylon protective pouch with velcro seal and a cleaning cloth. The functionality and advantages of these filters are explained in the following texts and in the pictures.
  • ND FILTERS: The CamKix neutral density (ND) filter decreases the amount of light coming into the sensor (through the lens), without affecting the color of the image. This is ideal when you want to use lower shutter speeds in bright light, for example to avoid a washed out image of the sky.
  • ND4 VERSUS ND8: A good rule for shooting a well balanced video with a natural motion blur is to aim for a shutter speed that is twice your framerate. But when the light meter of your DJI Phantom camera shows +3EV then you know that you are 3 stops over and you should install an ND8 to get the correct exposure. If you are 2 stops over (+2EV), you should use the ND4 filter.
  • PL FILTER: The CamKix polarizing filter (PL) filters out scattered light from a certain angle to prevent reflections, for example in windows or water. So, when you keep the camera at that specific angle, you will get the best results.
  • ENHANCED FOOTAGE: If the original source footage that you capture with your DJI Phantom camera is better, it will be easier to get enhanced results in post production. Using CamKix filters will help you achieve that.

This kit contains a neutral density filter (ND4+ND8+PL), a filter storage container and a cleaning cloth. The functionality and advantage of this filter is explained in the following texts and in the pictures.

  • Are these filters glass or plastic and are they threaded?

Glass and they are not threaded. They slip over the lens By Victor D. on January 22, 2017 .

  • Are these multicoated filters?

No, they are used to slow down the shutter speed of the camera. Kind of like different shades of sunglasses By Victor D. on November 17, 2016

  • does it fit phantom 4 standart

    Answer this question

  • Does this fit on phantom 3 advance?

Most likely... this is a slip on design, while Advance and Professional have a lens that screws on the camera instead... but...I'd suggest you check your camera lens outer diameter first. If diameter is 1.24 inches or 31.6 mm then it shoudl fit without a problem. By Boris B. on March 16, 2017 .
